Social Work

The Social work team in the centre brings a broad range of experience from community care, Probation and Community Settings. All of the team are professionally qualified and as social workers subscribe to the fundamental concepts of self-empowerment and client self- determination in the decisions affecting their own, their families and their communities well-being.

Working as part of a multi- disciplinary team and through the medium of a keyworker system, the main areas of responsibility for the team range from, family support (including child welfare), providing reports as requested by various sources, advocacy, group work, welfare rights and attendance at appropriate inter-agency meetings.
